Hops & Additions 0.75 oz – Northern Brewer (60)

0.5 oz – Northern Brewer (30)

0.5 oz – Northern Brewer (15)

1.0 oz – Northern Brewer (0)

Water Mash Temp: 151

Strike Temp:  162

Mash: 4 gallons

Sparge: 5 gallons

Gravity Estimated OG: 1.052

Estimated FG: 1.015

Measured OG: 1.052

Measured FG:  1.017

 

Estimated ABV: 4.95%

Calculated ABV: 4.85%

Fermentation Notes Gravity 6/11: 1.020

Gravity 6/18: 1.017

Stayed in the 60-64 degree fermentation range, a bit higher than the recommended temp of 48-58 degrees.

Tasting Notes 6/11: Yeasty!

6/23: Cold Crash @ 38 degrees

6/25: Kegged

Process Notes Altered gap on Barley mill to .035 from .040. This is the first time I hit the Estimated OG.
